Greetings,

Here is a summary of all of the costumes our beloved Kiki has donned in her movies over the years for our benefit.

This is just another in a long line of useless trivia compiled by yours truly.

I first thought of keeping track of this while watching Dick, a year or two ago.  In that film, Kiki gets to wear an amazing number of outrageous clothes from the 70s.  What fun she must of had making that film.  And what fun the costume designers must of had.

Last year she made Marie-Antoinette, which was a costumers dream!  So much of a dream, in fact, that Milena Canonero won the Acadamy Award for Cosume Design.  And Kiki was an absolute dream in all 77 of those wonderful costumes!

So here is the list, to be archived here at Kirsten-Dunst.org, for all of the world to marvel at.

            costume

 1   .   .   77   .   .   Marie-Antoinette
 2   .   .   38   .   .   Fifteen and Pregnant

37   .   .   1   .   .   High Strung
37   .   .   1   .   .   Wag the Dog

That is a grand total of 577 outfits worn by Kiki in these 38 movies!!!

Personally, I think the most impact she made with the fewest number of outfits was in The Cat's Meow.  She was simply wonderful as the young Marion Davies wearing expensive outfits from the roaring 20s!

Cheers,

Even more shocking i noticed it  Shocked Shocked Grin
Kirsten actually wore two different outfits in Mother Night, albeit one scene is very brief.

77 costume changes in Marie Antoinette. Wow !!. Blimey Mileno not only deserved the 'Best Costumes' Oscar i'm surprised she never got the 'Lifetime Achievement Award' Oscar too !  Grin.

I'm in awe, rsvpjrdot! Grin

77 costume changes in MA Shocked, I highly doubt any other films with Kirsten in it(of course those future ones count) could top that!
