Page Six dot com is reporting that Kirsten was acting erratically at an event at Sundance and that her friends had to apologize for her behavior stating  she's not at a good place right now.

I'm a little concerned about her after reading this. Is this just a nasty rumor?

Does anyone know if it's true and if she's ok?

If Kirsten (or any celeb for that matter) had behaved 'erratically' at Sundance i think at least one of the hundred plus photographers there would have taken pics of it!.
Kirsten was "low-key" at Sundance not "loo-py"

It means irrationally. And I don't think it is true. Everyone has their ups and downs. It also must be hard to loose a friend like Heath Ledger.

I think the tabloids have reach a new 'level'. It's amusing how Kirsten was in Sundance promoting her directorial debut, negotiating to star in a new movie and keep a rather low-key profile could be interpreted as erratical. Like John always said, photo-proof first.

Yes, that whole site is a bit creepy.  The underlying issue is whether Kirsten is doing well or not.  I don't know, but my guess is not real well.  This is not based on Sundance stuff, but on her earlier comments about retiring...and then going doubletime the other way.  That does not seem like her.  And the only thing I know happened around then was the ending of Jake/Kirsten's relationship.  And that is all I know or can reasonably figure out.  I lost some years on a disaster breakup.  I regret every minute of the time wasted.  I could have been doing things good for me and good for others.  I hope that if Kirsten is having a hard time, she simply realizes that she is not  in a one person boat. Millions of people everywhere are  also boating.   Working might help some, but so would some relaxation, and planning for the future.  She is 25 years old, arguably one of the most beautiful and talented women in the world, and has enough money to not overly worry about running out of food.  In many ways, she is in a good position to fight off any problems arising from the breakup, even if they are serious problems.  She has good friends and a good family.  This resource is more imp. than her money. And she has not lost the ability to love.   Even the people here support her in almost all ways.  I would expect Kirsten to tackle whatever problems might be bothering her using every bit of her courage and intelligence she has, listening to reasonable advice and making up her own mind as to what to do. I always bet on her. 

And as creepy as the site is....it gave her a number of very nice compliments.  Even the enemy has admiration for Ms. Dunst.

I just don't understand the writing of this Ted Casablanca person but I do hope she is alright. And if not that she is doing something to fix her problems. She is def. laying low, maybe she's just living with Molly like she did whilst filming Spider-man 3 and taking it easy.

It's probably very easy to 'loose it' in Hollywood but Kirsten has always seemed like a sensible girl(woman). All my good thoughts go to her.

Star is reporting that she is in rehab. Cirque Lodge. Star magazine is crap. Let's hope for the best.

They all seem to be referencing The Star post. I am hoping we get some independent verification as the tabloids can be so unreliable.

 Star Exclusive: Kirsten Dunst In Rehab!
 Kirsten Dunst has checked herself into Cirque Lodge in Utah, Star has learned exclusively.

Spider-Man's Mary Jane made the decision to follow in the footsteps of Cirque patients such as Lindsay Lohan and Richie Sambora ? after a week of wild parties at last month's Sundance Film Festival. Fellow actress Eva Mendes is also in the mountaintop facility right now. Mary-Kate Olsen was treated at Cirque for food issues.

"She desperately needed help," a source in Utah tells Star. "She seemed to be intoxicated when she checked in because she was acting really erratic. She was extremely emotional, constantly breaking down in tears.

"She not in a good place right now, but thankfully, she's getting the help she needs."

Star magazine is not the kind of material that I would normally trust and all those tabloids reporting Kirsten's in trouble seem to originated from the same source . But either way, I wish her the best.
