WALK OF FLAME - Christophe Didillon walks for Kirsten Dunst 300 miles from San Francisco to Hollywood

Norden/San Francisco, October 18, 2006. With reference to the famous ?Walk of Fame? on the Hollywood Boulevard, where movie stars perpetuate their memory in stars on the sidewalk, the German artist Christophe Didillon (35) recently did a pilgrimage for his flame, called ?Walk of Flame?. His flame with the name Kirsten Dunst is an actress in Hollywood. ?Of course, this sounds fairly crazy?, Didillon admits. But why shouldn?t he at least try it. ?Nothing venture nothing have!? Equipped with bag, baggage and pilgrim stick Christophe started his WALK OF FLAME on May 5, on the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco and arrived at Kirsten?s Management in Beverly Hills on June 6. As long as he remembers Christophe Didillon hasn?t been an imitator: ?When others told me, ?it?s impossible?, they just awoke my pioneer spirit and provoked my efforts to defeat their objections. Furthermore, from an early age I have been a creative guy, attaching more importance to my intuition and to my inner voice than to the opinions of others. The common sense is able to commit errors, and my inspirations never failed. In last February I received an unmistakable sign from my inner voice how maybe to manage to find a way to my inaccessible Flame.?

He walked for his love 300 miles from San Francisco to L.A., donated her paintings and dedicated his WALK OF FLAME. One year later, he made a pilgrimage on the Camino de Santiago through Belgium and the Netherlands to France in order to collect donations for amnesty international and its fight against female genital mutilation and for the rights of women in the Third World.
Christophe Didillon (36 years of age) is heading over ears in love for Kirsten, and to meet her once in his life remains to be his greatest heart?s desire. He wants to create a painting together with her for donating the profit of its sale to an incorporated society that helps children and juveniles having cancer. Didillon:
"Because she is a well-known person, a public auction of the painting would surely become very efficient, and finally, my heart's desire to meet her and to take a deep look in that ocean deep blue of her eyes would come true. However, they just told me not to be "famous enough" for a meeting with her, and not even to inform her. I don't want to let others decide about the fulfilment of my desire than Kirsten. At the Festival de Cannes, I will wear a SPIDER-MAN costume and distribute "Kirstendollars" to the public in order to find someone who is able to inform Kirsten about my desire. I love this girl, and I want my chance! My desire may sound crazy, but why, anyway? The immense importance of the movie star icon around her person and the whole Hollywood "dream factory" has only a chance to exist because there are spirited and courageous visionaries who are fighting for the realization of their dreams until becoming successfully, in spite of the mockeries and oppositions of others. Just visionaries like me! The one may dream and use all his power to make lots of money, the other once maybe dreamt to become a famous movie star, and I just dream to win the heart of the cutest and together toughest young lady in the world. Is money or being famous a more reputable matter than love? I don't think so. Never mind the movie star ? I love just the real girl in the shadow of the spotlight. My life let me learn that only daredevils own this world. I want my chance, and I will fight for the fulfilment of my heart's desire, end of story!"
Early in life, Christophe Didillon learned to fight. He once chained himself in the cupola of the German Parliament building in Berlin for helping his parents against arbitrariness on the part of official authorities, until the President of Germany offered his help. Several years later demonstrated the artist under the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin "against the silent repression of the meaning of human dignity out of modern society", caused a large-scale operation of police.
Didillon remains to be fighting: "My ancestors came from Paris, the City of Love. Obviously, it runs in my blood to fight for my love! I am very creative and enduring, too. There are some more ideas how I could manage to gain Kirsten's attention and to impress her. And I'm very sure I will impress her."
The resolute action artist and painter asks you and everybody else, who got information about his action: "Please, inform Kirsten about my heart's desire! KIRSTEN, MY LOVE COUNTS MORE THAN ALL YOUR MONEY! I really love you, and I want my chance!"

I think a lot of what Didillon did was fine. It looks like he is helping people.  But you can't fall in love with someone you don't know.  You can have a wonderful non realistic crush, but  even a one way love relationship is impossible unless you know a person  well.  So, I would be leary of him if I were a 26 year old female.  Too extreme.

No celebrity can save the world by herself.  It takes a lot of people to help anyone.  And I don't  fault the celebrity segment for what they do/have done at all--Madeliene Carroll, A. Hepburn, A. Jolie, KD, Laura Branningan, J.K. Rowling, Sinatra, K. Spacey, all the band benefits, thousands more,---all have done wonderful things, and they probably over match us plainer people in doing good.

Hamlet, I think similar like you - many celebs are giving the impulse to many people to help to make the world to a little bit better place.... Theyre as the first drop of rain... and much more are following.

About Didillon I am not quite sure that to think: I think soon everyone should know that he really want see Kirsten.
But telling like him "I love her" - this is quite not normal. I think this scaredf Kirsten more than to meke him interest for her. Sure he`s doing a lot to get attraction with goal to see her, but I think he would better take care to see her at a premiere of movie, fashio show... like this.
I think most of us want meet KD one time personal, but this is quite nearly not possible.
If she would make something like a fan- convention or something like this or a fan-clubmeeting, than yes, but she is to shy to show in public. It is not that she is ignoring us fans, maybe she is even reading sometimes our comments in this forum - at least John told she was looking on its pages -  but she is just keeping her private life very private.
Now this is a good question what happenes if someone try to get contact with her over media. I am sure if I would be her I would feel pressure and pressure in this case is not good. You can not force someone over media to meet with you or to give you an "audience" - this is just not good.

Question is when normal fandom ends and stalking starts.....
Could Didillon get to be a stalker?
It is stalking if for example I would have sent her flowers or just a little card for her birthday (dont ask please now where, cause I know sending to her adress of living or to her autogramm-adress would be without much sense.... in this case her adress in NY would be the best  )? Question is what happenes if hundred of fans of her would do the same - she could open maybe a flowers shop    joke   
I think this theme is very delicat.

Didillon can do whatever he wants but this idea with money with KDs face on it,.... I dont know I think this is just putting pressure on her - who wabnts to meet someone because of pressure? I for sure not - even if I am not famous.

Last: Like you told I think no one can tell "I love you" if he/she is not knowing PERSONALLY the other one.
I can tell that I adore Kirsten, but loving her..... for sure not. Maybe if I would meet hre some times, beeing friend of her... then this could be maybe possible but just tell like "I love you" - this is not possible. This remembers me the film "Borat" when Borat ?told that he loves Pamela Anderson...... I think in this case when someone tells "I love her" it is a little bit dangersous that he could do some too crazy things - like waiting for weeks in front of her home.
I think I can speak for most members of this forum if I tell that we all dont whish this to Kirstgen.
Now she needs to find to herself again and not to deal with some fan with rosa glasses and hearts of him and Kirsten in his mind and heart.

Latest news what I was reading and hearing about the "Kirsten Dollar Story" is that Kirsten or better her management was informed about what Didillon did in Cannes, but they told him officially that for now Kirsten does not have time for a meeting and that many people wants to meet her and for a meeting now he is too unimportant.

Well, hopefully KD's management did not go that far.  That's a bit rough to hear from someone you have a crush on, and walked 1,000 miles for.   Maybe they were nice and said "She's pretty busy now, but maybe way later after these movies slow down a bit, she can talk to you on the phone, or write you a letter. "   Probably no real good way to keep some time to yourself, while maintaining privacy, and not hurt some fan's feelings.   I'm not sure I want to have tea with a person I don't somehow know pretty well. It would be worse if I were a woman.  And worse than that if I were a woman celeb.

Maybe say nothing?

Why rough? I am sure many, many many people wants to meet Kirsten Dunst. And for sure she must take priorities....

I was hearing and reading this news only... and "news" are news and sometimes they change a mouse to an elephant.
So its not sure that they told this "exactly" like this.
But its true, it must be quite hard for Didillon.

I cant feel like he must feel, cause for me I must have ever met a woman to fall in love with her.
But Kirsten is very sweet, attractive and a great woman. I would love so much to meet her - who knows about falling in love with her.

YES, but no one knows who will be hitten by amor.....
Even I could go with bus, sitting near a woman, talking to her and....  fall in love.
This is always possible.

But realistic I consider more to be friend than love....
But nothing is impossible.....
I just mean I would not date her for love... but just for friendship.

I wonder if this person is genuine, and I just can't seem it.  I've never felt "love", so I'm not the best person to ask, but I can't see how it is possible to love someone you have never met or even talked to.  I think deep down this person isn't feeling love but a fascination with celebrity, which I could say I'm guilty of as well.

I reread the earlier posts.  First, Didillon says he has "other ideas" to meet Kirsten.  Considering that he walked 300 miles, and printed up some Kirsten Money to bribe people, I wonder what idea he is working on.  Secondly, what does he do for a living? Finally, the question worthy member Matrox raised:  Is it celebrity or the real girl/woman that brings us here. Me, I'm a guy.  I think pretty women tend to make guys think they are better than they are. This may be pretty unfair--but it seems to have been the rule for a long time. And celebrity makes KD even more desirable (just like fairy tale princesses), so we think even more of her.   So, I am willing to allot 5% of my being here to Kirsten's celebrity and glitter.  And the rest to the inner beauty she has (okay some also to outer beauty).  But, I'm sure that if she were a grocery clerk, I'd still like her, and would like to know her. I'm never sure what the female members like about KD, bec. ... I'm not female. I'd kind of like to hear what some of them think.

And the guy is not dumb.  He makes the analogy that most of the Hollywood stars believed they could do something that no one thought they could do--i.e. become a best selling singer or a great actor/actress--so,why shouldn't he be able to have his dream of meeting them or dating them or marrying them and maybe get there?  I wonder what the wisdom of the group is for answer to this argument?

Since Hamlet asked the question, I feel like I'm obligated to answer it. Is it celebrity or the real girl/woman that brings us here? First of all, if Kirsten's not an well-known actress, would we even have a chance to know this wonderful person or have a forum/website that brings up altogether? The answer is obvious. But did I fall for her celebrity stardom or glitter? Not so much. Of no doubt, Kirsten is immensely beautiful, not only because of her outer beauty, but even more for her talent, kindness, personality etc. Like hamlet said, even if she were a grocery clerk, I'm sure she'll live the best out of it and still becomes this amazing person she is. 

From a female members' point of view, this Didillon person kind of creeps me out. He's smart and passionate about it, that's for sure. But somehow you don't fall in love with someone you never know or never even talk to in real-life, it might sounds romantic but in reality, you've merely been projected your ideal love image onto this person. Maybe I was a little bit of jumping to conclusion here, but to me it might be obsession/crush disguised as love's form, but true love, it is not.

I think every memebr of this forum would love to meet Kirsten in real life... and possible not only on a premiere, standing near the red carpet and shouting "Kirsten, Kirsten". Even a meet&greet would be so great.
Didillon has is own way to try to meet her. A quite originally way, but telling her that he loves her could scare her quite much, too. Stalkers tell "I love you sooo much" and so on. Strong feelings can be very great but also very dangerous.... 

Myself I would love soooooooooo much to meet Kirsten Dunst, but I can and could not tell that I love her or something like this.
I just like her very, very much - thats all and dont loose the believing to meet her one day.
