I found only this frensh article about A jealous ghost: http://www.purepeople.com/11678-PHOTOS-Kirsten-Dunst-a-vraiment-de-belles-gambettes-.html
telling nothing about when the filming will start  Shocked

A Jealous Ghost finally got itself a director- Gonzalo Lopez-Gallego to direct 'Ghost'.

Gonzalo Lopez-Gallego is attached to direct the Paramount Vantage project "A Jealous Ghost," which Kirsten Dunst is starring in and producing.

Ben Forkner, Eric Kranzler and Daniel Rappaport of Film 360, the production arm of Management 360, are producing.

Screenwriter Megan Holley, who adapted the A.N. Wilson novel, is doing another short pass on the script before Vantage hopes to push it into production.

Wilson's 2005 novel describes a young American woman who travels to London to write a dissertation on Henry James' classic ghost tale, "The Turn of the Screw," only to find that her own circumstances begin to reflect the strange happenings of the story.

This literary horror project could be a priority for the newly reconstituted Vantage, which is looking to reshape its image. In July, the specialty division's marketing, physical production and distribution departments were woven into those of Paramount proper, and the staff was requisitely streamlined. Its next film, the Keira Knightley starrer "The Duchess," bows Friday.

Lopez-Gallego, repped by Paradigm, was featured as one of the 10 Latino filmmakers to watch in The Hollywood Reporter's Aug. 20 issue. A writer and editor as well, Lopez-Gallego made several short films before he co-wrote and directed "King of the Hill," a feature that has been touring the festival circuit since last year.

Dear gkfi,

Thank you very much for the information.
I just found some similar article at http://www.shocktillyoudrop.com/news/topnews.php?id=7762 :

Spider-Man and Interview with the Vampire's Kirsten Dunst is set to star and produce A Jealous Ghost.

The film is set up at Paramount Vantage with the Film 260 trio Ben Forkner, Eric Kranzler and Daniel Rappaport producing. They've nabbed Gonzalo Lopez-Gallego to direct. He stirred up a modicum of buzz with the thriller King of the Hill which was acquired by The Weinstein Company.

On adaptation duties is Megan Holley who will translate Jealous, a novel by A.N. Wilson, for the big screen. According to THR, the story is about "a young American woman who travels to London to write a dissertation on Henry James' classic ghost tale, The Turn of the Screw, only to find that her own circumstances begin to reflect the strange happenings of the story."

Holley is doing another pass at the script before Vantage possibly moves it into production.

Well it certainly now looks like this will be Kirstens next film. Remember though "Sweet Relief" also had a director attached to it when it was first mooted 3 years ago so it's not guaranteed.

However I do feel this film will get made. I'll guess from the reports that filming will probably start early next year.

I've had a feeling all along that out of all the many mooted films Kirsten has been linked with that this one was the most likely to get made. I'm also personally very pleased because I think the book has great potential both to make a very good film and also to get a very good, and very different, performance from Kirsten.

It's also nice to see Kirsten getting involved with the film off screen as well. Hopefully this will be the start of a successful career behind the lens (but still continuing in front of it of course!).

It'll be very interesting to see if Kirsten does sign on for Spider-Man 4 and 5. If she does I think it's unlikely she'll make any more films (oher than a Jealous Ghost) before Spider-Man 4 goes in to production (it's rumoured that filming will start next autumn/fall). If that happens I'd have serious doubts if either "Sweet Relief" or the Blondie film will ever get made.

However if Kirsten crams in all 3 films before filming Spidey 4 and 5 I certainly won't be complaining !  Grin

Commercial wise, I do think A Jealous Ghost will get made before Sweet Relief or Blondie, especially when it seems like Paramount Vantage is eager to start the production. I've never read the A.N Wilson novel, but I did read Turn of the Screw which it based on. If A Jealous Ghost is as thrilling as Turn of the Screw in any way, I do agree with John that it's has great potential. Oh, and the director who get attached to this project is also a talented one in thrill genre. So, can't wait to see how this one turns out to be.

Off the topic a little bit. I never knew Sweet Relief once had a director on board? Who was it? One of the reasons I think SR stucks in development hiatus is it's subject matter. For an MTV production, it does sounds a little artsy.

I agree with you that this film will be great and has even the potential for an award - would be soooo great if Kirsten would get it for her performance "behind the camera".

Looking forward to have any more news about this project....  Cool

Bumped into an interview of Megan Holley, the screenwriter for A Jealous Ghost. She mostly talked about her more recent project called "Sunshine Cleaning," but somewhere during the interview, she did mention briefly of her work on "A Jealous Ghost." I'm not quite sure when exactly did this interview took place, but she talked about a possible shooting time and such. Sounded like "A Jealous Ghost" is on the fast track. So here's some quotes,

"Now the mother of 6-month-old Sam, Holley still finds time to work on another project. She is loosely adapting a book, "A Jealous Ghost," which is itself a loose retelling of the Henry James classic "The Turn of the Screw."

If she can finish her revisions in time, the film could shoot by the end of the year. Kirsten Dunst is signed on to star, with Spanish director Gonzalo Lopez-Gallego behind the camera.

From her base in Richmond, Holley keeps in touch with Lopez-Gallego in Spain and the producers in Los Angeles by telephone conferences."
