Hi evrybody!

First I will apologize for my very bad English (I am French)! [So if I make recurrent mistakes or something like that, don't hesitate to mention it. Thanks!]

So it is now 4:00 pm and I have just bought two comics of Spiderman in order to get them maybe dedicated...
And in five minutes I'm gonna live home to go to the Grand Rex (about half an hour far from home) for the Spiderman 3 Premiere, and I have to admit I feel very very excited at the idea of seeing stars in real life even if I may be 50 meters or more far from them (so close and even so far!)...
I have to go, so... to be continued just after the Premiere!

Now, it is nearly 1:00 am and I cannot say anything else than being a bit disappointed, so I think the report of my evening would not be as exciting as the ones of our two English friends! (and more difficult to read as well, sorry...)

Let's begin with the beginning! We (I was with 3 friends of mine) arrived at the cinema at 5:00 pm, that is to say about one hour and an half before the opening for the entrance... And I think that was the right time to come since just half an hour later there were many more people (there were only about one or two hundreds people before us in the queue, among about 2700 persons)! But I was very surprised as there were not many people who seemed really "fans"...
My friends were very impatient to enter, so was I. Indeed, we cannot really bare standing there doing nothing. During the waiting several people from the cinema came to tell us: no mobile, no electronic material etc.; and that the stars would arrive at about 8:30 pm, then spend half an hour outside on the red carpet and then half an our on the stage in the cinema... That was the hope that make us survive!
Time was rulling not so fast... I had to sum up the first two episodes for my friends who did not remember very well, it makes time rulling... a bit...

At last, the queue begins to walk, at 7:00 pm we are in the cinema! Big room, a screen not that big, many people... The first funny thing we have noticed was a young boy, about 10 year old I suppose, wearing the Spiderman suit, and attending the screening!
Then we had to be even more patient! Nothing on the screen, a little music in the background... during one hour and a half I think!

For your great understanding I have to say (which I forgot before) that there are two levels in the cinema and all the people (including me... so sad...) were upstairs (although the stars come from downstairs). At 8:30 pm, something begins to appear on the screen: it was sum-ups of the first two Spiderman! But bad surprise: that was in French (and I hate Kirsten's "French voice", her voice being so soft to hear...). Then they screened some comments of the actors and staff about scenes of these films, and in English please... It was like Extras on DVDs and it was d?j?-vu for me and other people behind us as I could hear them complaining all the time...
Then there was the beginning of the trailer for Spiderman 3 but it was cut I don't know why... And it was 9:00 pm so people were hoping that was for the stars entrance!

Furthermore there were cameras' flashes that have come from downstairs for about ten minutes, so people were really hoping! But no, certainly someone was late...

So to make us wait they showed the clip of the music of the film: Snow Patrol, "Signal Fire"... I like it, it's cool. But that did not do the same effect to the majority. Then 5 minutes of nothing, and then they showed the clip again! But all the room was huhing that. They asked for the film to begin and were complaining about their waiting for so long. I felt really bad for the actors (maybe except one of them missing or something like that) who certainly were already there: it must be so difficult to enter in a room when you have heard that the public could be that horrible!
It is now about 9:20 pm and the things seem to begin soon: a Spiderman was webbing down from nowhere on the scene. For a second I wondered if it could be Tobey! But it was certainly not since he left the scene just after! And then arrived Nikos Aliagas (a French anchorman for a show like American Idol) who I can't stand: yupi... But he is announcing... oh, there is someone important from Sony! She arrived, said something but I did not really pay attention to that: I was waiting for somebody else!

Finally, after a few words on the movie, Nikos announced the staff and the actors (I think his rate of good pronouncing for the names is very low...)! At last! So this deserves a great description of course but I think it did not last more than two minutes, and there is no overstatement in my words! They arrived on the scene, we were so far from them, I don't know, maybe more than 50 meters between them and us. So we could only see things in little because of course there was no image of them on the screen (great organisation...)! However it was enough to notice that Kirsten was as pretty (that mauve dress is a marvel Wink) as for the previous premieres...

First and the one who spoke at longest: Sam Raimi. He had prepared papers, and in French! He said that it is always a pleasure to be here in France since it was the first country which recognize about his talent 25 years ago; that was for le "Festival du Film Fantastique" and the public would have welcomed him really nicely...

Then Tobey! He just said (back in English) that they did many premieres this last week, Tokyo, Rome, London, but that the best public was for tonight! He added that they would leave tomorrow.

What about Kirsten? hum, she said only few words, not in French unfortunately... and I must say she was the most applauded one but so much that I could not understand the half of what she said! :-( I could catch she said she was overwhelmed with all these promoting events and I think she wanted to apologize for them being late (maybe was she guilty for that? but she knows that as far as I am concerned that's all forgiven...)!
And Nikos (who did not manage to pronounce her name correctly) announced that it is going to be her birthday on Monday: so everybody was singing "Joyeux anniversaire..." and she seemed quite embarassed or even, she played the embarassed girl (which she does very well... oh, what? aw, yes I've forgotten she's an actress... right...).

Then Nikos asked Sam for an introduction for the secondary actors but he did not want (they were seemingly late) and just added a "Bon film" and began to leave the scene while Tobey was asked whether he prefered playing the bad or the good Spidey...

That's all: they all left the scene and the movie began! It was really fun and Kirsten dancing and singing (in the movie) are really worth seeing!
We finally left a bit after 0:00 pm...

My last comment would be that the organisation was not really good for the event! And I had no occasion to ask for autographs and we have seen the stars during a too short moment; so I think next time I will be waiting outside near the red carpet! Because by doing that certainly that I would have had some since there were not many people at 5:00 pm and that I could have had a very good spot! (there were at least ten times less people in front of the cinema than in London and no square has been closed for the event: so I think it is easier for me than for you English guys to get autographs, I think)
That explains what I call disappointment...

To conclude, the evening would nevertheless stay for a long time in my mind just for all the excitement I felt before the event! And I'm already waiting for the next Kiki's premiere in France...

Yep! A bit in advance but it was sweet...

Thank you for answering... I had finally thought that my English was so bad that nobody had managed to finish reading it!  Cheesy
