Wow, that Jealous Ghost sounds interesting. Does anyone know what that is about?

Also, how come most of these aren't on IMDB? I mean... even the ones that are confirmed? The only movies on there are Sweet Relief and How to Lose Friends & Alienate People. Ahh, but How To Lose Friends and Alienate People sounds interesting as well. I may try to read the book. Yaay.

Thanks for giving us all this info.

Wow, that sounds awesome. Thank you so much for answering my questions! It's very helpful of you.

&& yeah, some people also reckon that IMDB isn't a trusted resource... they reckon that people edit it like good old Wikipedia. X_X

iRe i've removed part of your last post as it revealed far too much of the plot of A Jealous Ghost.
Most people probably haven't read the book and i'm sure many of them don't want to know what happens before they see the film !  Grin

Re IMDB i've always found the info that site posts patchy at best. They add details of many new movies very late, often after filming has begun  Grin
They also have a habit of not removing details of films in 'pre-production' that were scrapped months before.

No need to apologise iRe.

I've read the book (as you probably guessed) and the basic storyline/plot is deliberately kept vague.

However in case anyone wants to know what the book is about here's the (giving nothing away) plot.

A female American student in London takes a temporary job as a live in nanny looking after 2 children. The father is strangely insistent that his children should never be left on their own...........

Spooky !  Shocked

Our girl is definitely getting busy again! Seems like her 'long' break worked well. I'm just glad we could see/hear more of her, and those projects in development are nothing but exciting! Rock chick, relief worker, an student haunted by ghost in London, what is that word again-- chameleon!

I've just finnished reading 'A Jealous Ghost' and I'm gonna ruin everything for you, well what happens is........ only kidding I'm not that cruel  Wink

The book was excellant and was written with Henry James's 'Turn of the screw' in mind. And it was a brilliant read. I must say I've not read the Henry James book but going to do so shortly.
I am really looking forwards to see Kiki in this role, I'm guessing she's playing the American Sallie. I think this is a great move for her and can't wait to see it when it has been made.

Thanks a lot for the heads up Adriano.  I have to agree, it seems like a lot of irons in the fire; six movies I wasn't aware of.  If just some of them come to fruition, we're due for some great entertainment.  Some of the synopsis and cast and crew lists look fantastic.  An Andrew Lloyd Webber musical with Johnny Depp and Natalie Portman!  Hope this isn't some kind of hoax.

LOL that's a big list, i'm highly doubtful re most of the 'new' films on that list.
I recognise a couple of the titles as films Kirsten was linked with years ago, and neither of them got made.
All forgotten is the alternate title for Lover's Prayer.
Of the others the only one i've heard about is Whistle Down The Wind, which has been mooted for several years. Just about everyone in Hollywood has been linked to this (potential) project.
Strange that there's no mention of Persopolis?.

That's because it's a French movie...  Grin You know, France, this little island when seen from the US eyes...  Cheesy
